I wanted to let everyone know that Meyers Heating & Cooling has moved to a new location at 1750 55thStreet in Suite #D.
A lot has changed in the 55 years we have been located on the West end of Pearl Street. It used to be the industrial area of town. But as Boulder’s population has boomed, so has the number of calls we receive, and we need a facility conducive to handling that increased volume. So, it was time to move.
Mark and I, (Mark Reese, Operations Manager), felt staying in Boulder was the key move forward in handling the growth we are experiencing and our future business plans. We aren’t looking to move into Denver, we do business in Boulder & Boulder County! We are committed here locally. And a facility that is so spacious and centrally located will allow us to do that more effectively.
This new facility’s size allows us to expand our sheet metal shop, plus carry more parts inventory so we can be more responsive to our client’s needs. Especially for East Boulder and the communities near us like Superior, Louisville, Lafayette and Erie that are close to us. The additional inventory space will allow us to react faster and more efficiently in all aspects of our business; repairing HVAC systems, replacing HVAC systems, and the custom home HVAC new construction work we do.
As the explosion of people has hit this area, the amount of calls we get in extreme hot or cold weather has expanded at a rate that at times has been tough to handle. When we get more calls than we have the man power to handle, the only thing we can do is schedule when we have an opening or even at times turn the call away. A few times I have had the feedback that we don’t “care” in these situations. And that is the farthest from the truth. If we physically do not have a spot to schedule it doesn’t mean we don’t care and are a “bad” company, just a “busy” one.
We do our best to help everyone we can, and will continue to do so! Our new facility is just the start of our expansion. We thank you for your patronage and business.
